Application Architect

Key accountabilities:

  • The position requires to design and analysis of software projects. Creation of new applications and improve existing applications, run software tests, develop product prototypes, create technical documents and manuals relating to application development.
  • Require a high level of technical expertise, combined with excellent planning, coordination and communication skills, and the ability to work with teams.
  • Define and implement application architecture for diverse business processes, projects, and function
  • Develop software solutions and strategy to meet the architectural goals and needs of business user/customer.
  • Liaise with programmers and software development team to design and implement an architectural system.
  • Assign work duties to organization’s technical and/or developers in order to achieve a common target.
  • Design the interface between multiple applications, databases, and middleware systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to business users to ensure high level of business performance.
  • Carry out assessments to identify operational limitations and gaps in functional coverage.
  • Upgrade architectural systems and software life cycle to ensure improved processes.
  • Proffer recommendations to business users/customer on technical resources and action plans necessary for an efficient architectural system.
  • Ensure an application conforms to fundamental application standards and meets the requirements of business user/customer.
  • Ensure proper documentation of software design and Developing processes in order to produce appropriate procedures for application use.
  • Design applications according to specific architectural design to improve overall system performance.
  • Collaborate with users to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
  • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
  • Ability to learn new/latest technology skills required to support assigned systems.
  • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
  • Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to develop team.

Essential Skills:

  • BSc in computer science, engineering or relevant field.
  • Any technical certification related to software and application design and development.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant development life cycle experience in system and applications design, including architecting applications.
  • Strong technical skills, dedication, innovation, drive for excellence.
  • Implementation experience in full stack development of applications, preferably utilizing Agile development methodology.
  • Strong knowledge in various languages and framework (Angular, React, etc.)
  • Experience in creating DB Objects such as Stored procedure, function and packages
  • Experience with data/information modeling.
  • In-depth and hands-on experiences in developing end-to-end logical and physical architecture documents including data models.
  • Ability to lead, delegate, motivate, and support resources to achieve high delivery demands.
  • Clear communication abilities
  • Strong analytical, creative, problem solving and critical thinking skill.
  • Detail oriented team player to consistently provide valuable suggestion and solutions in area of software development, use and maintenance.
  • Effective leadership skill to lead project development team in areas of applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
