SVP of Corporate Travel, Strategy & Consultancy

Key accountabilities:

  • Development of the overall corporate travel strategy for the organization with a balanced approach to increase short-term revenues and grow long-term sustainable profits.
  • Strengthen the existing corporate travel network of global and national accounts
  • Provide personalized client servicing that includes business reviews, cost savings analysis, employee travel insights and future of travel recommendations
  • Build strong relationships and network with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
  • Monitor and provide market intelligence, trends & analysis to client network
  • Lead Business development efforts into Southeast Asian markets & submit bids for new account acquisition
  • Establish sales targets and monitor progress for achievement
  • Lead the digital transformation efforts to innovate corporate travel services for a future-proofed the company:
    • Develop a tech platform of own-branded corporate travel solutions for national & regional accounts.
  • Diversify existing corporate travel services by expanding into an advisory and travel consultancy travel business:
    • Create new revenue streams by providing corporate travel advisory services to existing and new corporate clients
    • Build on existing expertise in program management, business planning and technology implementation to provide customized growth strategies related to travel and people-movement for key regional corporate customers
    • Build a team of consultants to form the advisory division.
  • Lead, motivate and manage a team of professional sales and client servicing staff, to deliver healthy revenue growth by building strong, business relationships with key corporate clients.

Essential Skills:

  • Tertiary education with Degree
  • Extensive experience with corporate sales, strategy, client servicing and business development
  • Solid experience in establishing strategic partnerships
  • Experience in digital tech for commercial or customer management objectives
  • Experience in public relations, promotion and communications
  • Experience in building a high-performance team and instilling a culture of inclusivity, openness and mutual respect.
  • Confident, mature and humble
  • Have a strong corporate network with the ability to build connections with middle and senior management level executives in various industries
  • Passion and desire to lead positive change
  • Resourceful and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit to problem solve while staying objective
