Key accountabilities:

  • Ensure that the IT systems and its users are effective.
  • Ensure that IT systems functions within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the organisation.
  • Understanding the company’s business priorities, requirements, structure and processes, in order to define scope for solutions.
  • Monitoring and reporting project progress, and initiate corrective action, as appropriate, to ensure that deliverables are on time within budget.
  • Overseeing testing and system integration for applications.
  • Ensuring knowledge transfer to the local support team is completed upon implementation.
  • Identifying and planning change management activities to implement approved new or alternative business processes.
  • Providing support for corporate applications, minimizing outages and disruption to business operations.
  • Ensuring adequate and timely support to resolve system issues/bugs.
  • Establishing governance and processes to manage change requests.
  • Facilitating periodic end user training as necessary.
  • Ensuring the quality of vendor support is maintained over time through regular vendor assessments and evaluations.
  • Managing vendors ton ensure project deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
  • Being a core team for ERP.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Previous job experience with similar job scope – specialized in IT/Computer.
  • Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent and experience in Project Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information System.
  • A flexible approach to working practice and good prioritisation skills.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite Oracle would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Project Management would be an advantage.
  • Problem solving in response time for downtime and system uptime.
  • Computer-oriented support skills.
  • Basic referential database knowledge and telephony experience.
  • Broad understanding of technologies and infrastructures required to support the retail platform.
  • Possess proficiency/keen interest in IP networking its equipment, protocols and technology:
    • Routers, Switches
    • Multicast TCP UDP over IPv4 and IPv6
    • MPLS
